Vaio Laptop Software - remote desktop

Greetings y'all. Have a vaio VGN-SZ1XP (great piece of kit, thoroughly recommend them!) but am trying to get windows remote desktop to work. Comes pre-installed with XP Pro, have 3 other pcs all running xp pro. Can't find remote desktop on the vaio, have tried using my other XP pro cd to add it and it says its already installed. Hmpf.... any thoughts?
