Smallest A5 printer

Need to source a small physical size colour printer which will print on A5 normal ( ie NOT thermal) paper from a feeder. The critical dimension is the width which cannot exceed 200mm.Feeder should ideally take around 20 sheets at a time and the printer should connect via a USB port. All suggestions gratefully received - and yes, I did use the search facility! Many thanks.

A5 is surely 148 x 210 millimeters ......

Sony have a name in mini printers .... if you do a google with "sony A5 Printer" you may find some suitable links ....

Thank you Hobie....for pointing out the typo ( now edited) and the suggestion!

Worth mentioning perhaps the smallest but still usable printer

http://www.pentaxtech.com/

I have actually seen the output from the 300dpi version; stunning and easily good enough for any flight planning material incl approach plates.

Then there is the Canon IP90 which is A4 but is light and fairly compact.

I haven't seen any Sony A5 printers which were actually small, appropriate to the paper size. The common dye sub models are bulky. Most are quite bulky. Maybe they have something new. A really compact A5 inkjet would be handy for printing approach plates.

IO540 - thanks. You must be reading my mind. Already have the PocketJet and the IP90 but am looking for a very slightly smaller ( this is where the 200mm limit comes in) printer. The PocketJet works fine but is limited by being single sheet and monochrome. So if you need to print the Frankfurt SIDs out you are in for a long wait.

If you find a small A5 plain paper printer, let me know :)

I have been looking for one constantly for years.

I am happy with the IP90. The ink cartridge doesn't last long but it's very light (mostly fresh air inside) so chucking it in the backpack is fine.
