Where has my download button gone?

Ok, so I posted this in the wrong forum the first time, but my question was…

Doesn’t the new Pprune look nice... But where has my ever so useful “download this thread” button gone?

Thanks in advance for the help

A suggestion for an alternative route: Click Thread Tools, then Show Printable Version. Then go to File -> Save As to save that page as an HTML file to keep. I peronally prefer saving pages as MHTML files (type: Web archive, single file), as they're very easily portable.

Thanks for the response Globaliser. So I guess this does mean that little nifty download button (as .txt) is well and truly dead. I though it was very useful as you could download stuff in an instant (to be read later) and by doing a ‘ctrl-f’ you could find anything in an nano-second.

Hope they bring it back…. Mr Moderator, are you there?

You can probably still do exactly that with an MHTML file (or any other stored HTML format).
