Screen Capture

Using XP Pro, and need to capture a screen shot. I have a utility that works well, but doesn't help me in this case.
I need to capture an occassional error message I'm getting, but can't use the utility because as soon as I left click to open it, the error message disappears.
Tried Ctrl/Print Screen, Alt/Print Screen, search, and Google.
I know windows can do it, but not sure how? Any ideas?

Try Shift+Print Screen then open up paintbrush and select paste, this should copy the contents of the screen grab into paintbrush, then trim down to the size you need to keep.

:ok:

FastStone capture is a free screen capture app that is quite versatile. Google will get you to it.
