Error message
 

Hi,

My Dad has problem with his PC.

Initially the message was "Error start programme DLL file VCL50BPL not found"

Then after restart message changed to

C|windows\startmenu\programmes\startup\netdb.exe

I have tried all I know to no avail.

Any ideas please.

(If it's too complicated I will advise him to buy new PC. I have relay info over phone and it gets very dificult!!!)

Of course if you are after a new computer then don't tell your dad and get a new hot gaming machine :E

Thanks for the info Mike, I did pass it on, but was unable to help because I have been away for the weekend.

He took it to a local expert who wiped his disk clean, which I think was rather drastic!

It's working fine now so all is ok.
