Why can't I see Imageshack photos?
Two of the regular contributors to What Aerodrome and What Cockpit are using Imageshack to host their pictures.
Instead of their pictures, I see "a frog in an icecube":

I've made several attempts over the last few months to fix this problem without success. Can anyone tell me what is happening and how to fix it? Whose problem is it? Mine, the poster's or PPRuNe's?

first of all supply a link to one of the pictures that doesn't display so we can have a look at it please (the one I tried was fine). Secondly which browser are you using? If it's Firefox or opera then try: How to get rid of the Imageshack frog in Firefox and Opera « Digital Quest
Alternately get them to use photobucket as imageshack are banning unregistered domains outside North America and Europe

gg,
I'm using Firefox on a Mac through my ISP in Vietnam. I set network.http.sendRefererHeader to Zero as suggested, after seeing this warning dialog:

The folks at Mozilla obviously have a sense of humour
However, I still see the frozen frog. Here's a URL posted by evansb on the What Aerodrome forum (http://www.pprune.org/aviation-histo...ml#post6660599) :

India Four Two yes good fun that warning, main thing is to make a note of anything you do in there so you can undo and only do one thing at a time.
Meanwhile back to your problem, try going to Proxy Guy (if your IP will let you) click in the white box to get the URL block up (if it's not already there) and paste that URL into it and press go and see if you can then see the picture, if you can then it's probably your IP is blocking imageshack for some reason.
