Is Microsoft's Virtual Earth Free?
I use Google Earth quite frequently, but having seen some shots of Microsoft's Virtual Earth, I think I'd prefer the latter! Is it free to download like Google Earth?

You might be interested in "Flash Earth" It is a simplified version of Google / MS Earth. You don't have to install a damn great programme, it runs in your browser. The great advantage is that you can swap from one mapping database to another at any time, so if you don't find good coverage in one you can try another. I haven't bothered with Google Earth for ages now.....

Thanks Pram, That's pretty good! It shows a fresher version of my house than GE, but why do I get 'no entry' signs over the other choices though?

That's one disadvantage, You don't get to zoom in as close and the limits seem to vary from one database to another. But for something so quick and easy to use I'm willing to put up with that.
