Question Mod's : What happened to the [CODE] function ?

I miss the [CODE] Function ...

It sort of " freezes" anything that you want to quote on ... worked great on cricket scores for instances or tables ..

Look HERE it was still succesfully used.

Well - never saw/used that one! I'll have a look in the Owner' Handbook' to see.

It is a "nice to have". We used to have a little icon for it as well - which dissapeared now ?

Here is what the handbook say BOAC (sorry been a moderator as well for many years - find it very usefull)

Well - I've just been on the dark side! I do not think the code fn is enabled, any more than the html. Sorry!

I promise you it was for the 8 years or so I have been on PPRUNE BOAC.

Look at my example - I did a CODE last week. It stopped working a day or two aga Sir.

AFAIK, the vb list shows whether the function is enabled by the 'output' example, and both html and coder appear dead now. I can only assume that the 'keepers of the master switches' have deselected the option since you used it. There has been much tweaking in dark places since 1/1. Suggest you try an email to admin to ask for it back?

I still used it HERE on 16 Jan 06.

I posted the this here in the hope they will answer me.

No problems mate - thanks for the help - let''s see if they pick it up after the weekend has gone.
