It won't wake up!

I have set my machine to go to stand-by after 1hr. By just a small movement on the mouse it instantly wakes up, done it for years. At least it did. Now it will not do so and I have to reset it.

Any ideas anyone?

Pop - have a peek at the Bios 'wake on events' or whatever yours are called and this page?

Have you tried (I'm sure you have) waking it up with the keyboard (space bar) or half-depressing the on/off button (last one works with Dell equipment).
