Can't edit typos in my own posts.
I've tried, on a couple of occassions, to re-enter a message that I've typed, in order to edit the phraseology or correct a typo.
I click the little "edit" button on the top row of the message box, but get a response from Pprune saying "You are trying to enter an area that you do not have permission for" (or words similar).
Thought that was the whole purpose of the "edit" button - to get back in and change mistakes.

Hi. One or two things here. First, clear ALL your cookies/cache etc and see what happens then.
Second, try editing someone elses post. Being a mod you can do this, see if the same thing happens to you. (it shouldn't). If it does, I would get in touch with Rob and see if he can solve this.
It shouldn't happen really, could be you are not logged in or something silly like that. I don't know to be honest, no expert but at least something to start on for now.
