st barts approach

i flew into st barts a year ago in an air st barts islander.

we were .5 or 1 mile from the approach end ofthe runway and about 1200 feet high.

i thought for sure we were going to check the wind sock and go around, but the pilot cut the power and held 60 mph and we hit the numbers!

would that technique work at culebra, puerto rico?

thanks

Why wouldnt it, if its the same type aircraft.......Culebra is very similar and I think better located into the prevailing winds..
