Creating the Aviator profession... like nurse, Lawer, engineer...

There is an intention to create the aviator full sense profession in Brazil (and in the world...).

It would be a professional license that would have the all prerogatives of the Commercial Pilot license.... (Changing that name from the Commercial Pilot license to "aviator") :D

The teaching would be in the method of higher education; would have code of ethics and autoregulation body (professional counsel/ so... The regulation of aviation issues would be made by the aviators themselves, elected among themselves.).

Did you hear about this?

Pointless, it would add nothing to an already regulated industry and would let pilots call themselves "aviators". In much of the rest of the world, being a Commercial Pilot is already considered a profession.

As for autoregulation, I presume they mean something like CRM, CREA or the OAB? These groups spend most of their time covering up for their members errors, not improving their industries.

Self regulation doesn't work in Brazil.
