How to become a pilot in Columbia?

Hi, I know a young man in Columbia from a disadvantaged background who would like to become a pilot. Can anyone give some advice on what his options are to achieve this in Columbia?

Look up flight schools in Columbia. This should be in the North America forum as there is a Columbia in Ohio, South Carolina, Indiana

If you don't have access to a fairly large amount of money to pay for training, your best bet would probably be the military.
