Private foreign aircraft flights in Brazil & Guyana

I will be flying my PA28-235 to Brazil and Guyana in January. I am pretty familiar with entry/exit rules for the aircraft, insurance, etc. But does anyone know if there are restrictions for a "foreign" (N number) aircraft flying to an uncontrolled/non-towered airport/strip in Brazil and Guyana?

I ask because many years ago, one could not file from a controlled strip to an uncontrolled strip in Argentina, but fortunately most locals did not know that. Likewise single engine IFR was prohibited in Brazil, but no one knew that either. Thanks goodness or I would have gone nowhere!

Thanks for any assistance you might have. Or if you know someone to ask, that would be great too.

I have done about 33 Helicopter ferry to Brazil. Things down there is not that bad. Once you enter the country they will issue a 45 days visa. You can go any where in the country without restriction. Remember that at every airport you land, you will have to pay a landing fee, airport service parking before you submit a fight plane.

Flying in Guyana

Thanks for your response and my sincere apologies for not responding sooner. I am going on a Peacock Bass fishing excursion out of Annai and hope to be able to fly there rather than take a 5 - 6 hour drive. The authorities in Guyana don't bother to answer when I send messages.
I left a message for John today and we'll see if he can shed any light.

Thanks again!
Sam
