Hours flow in Brazilian aircraft
Hello all! I wonder if anyone would be kind in helping me... I hold an EASA CPL multi IR and also a converted ANAC CPL IR. I have been flying bizjets (Learjet) part 135 in Brazil since 2011 as a copilot. I wonder if the hours I have flow in Brazilian aircraft will be credited towards my EASA ATPL? Like my 500 hours flow in multicrew acft? Appreciate any help! Regards.

A flight hour is a flight hour. This is part of your experience no matter under which license you've flown them!

Speedover60,
If the Learjet that you have been flying is, under EASA, considered/classified as a Multicrew aircraft, then your experience on the Learjet will be taken in consideration towards the necessary 500 hrs multicrew needed for the issue of the ATPL License. Not sure, but I believe that ALL Lear's are, under EASA, classified as a Multi pilot aircraft. For instance, some Cessna Citationīs are classified as Single pilot aircraft. It is better if you check with the authority that issued your EASA CPL. |
Thanks for your reply!
