METAR in Brazil

Hey there:

Could any Brazilian pilot give me the meaning for the following acronyms?
(They appear at the end of METARS in Brazil).:ugh:

PGG, PDM, PDD, PGH, PGW.

Thank you

They are the code for the name of the forecaster responsable for the TAF (it only appear on TAF by the way, not in METARS)

Cheers,

Thank you CA, and you're right, the codes appear in RMK at the end of TAFs.
I just checked the latest for SBGR, it's there, PHH :-)

Do you mean that they indicate the name of the forecasting agency?

No, that is the name of the person who made the info. Just to make intl crews crazy before they make a flight out of the country wondering what those letters are. Just for fun.

That sound like BS to me
