BFR (Biennial flight review)

Does anyone know if I can get a BFR outside the US, specifically in Argentina, for CPL and IR?

Gracias y saludos.

From what I have read in other forums it is possible as long as its done by an FAA CFI. Same thing for the Instrument proficiency check.

FAR 61.56 & 61.57

it needs to be on a N registered aircraft or a part 142 approved FAA simulator

No it does not need to be on a N registered aircraft.

(1) Accomplished a flight review given in an aircraft
for which that pilot is rated by an authorized
instructor;

that`s it...

In South Korea, Japan, China where there are a ton of FAA CFIs they do BFRs on local registered ACs...

When I was at SUSIAIR, the FAA rated pilots would do their BFRs on the Caravan with an FAA CFI....

Seconded

Does not need to happen on an N-Reg, so long as the check airman is a current FAA CFI and also holds a licence for the state in which the check aircraft is registered as it is a commercial flight then it is possible.
