Panama general aviation

I've just retired from airshow flying (www.angel-7.com) and will be moving to Panama after we sell our Florida home.

What's the status and cost of private GA flying in Panama? We plan to live in Panama City., so Albrook would be our operating point.

I hold a commercial, SMEL, instrument and experimental exhibition type in the North American T-28 and Aero Vodochody L-39.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Hello Pete...what do you mean exactly by the status of g. aviation down in Panama. You mean like renting a plane or to take the L39 down there? Definitely Albrook would be your airport. I live in Costa Rica but may be able to find some info. for you.

Good Luck

Thanks!

Plane rental is much more likely. Angel 7 is for sale, and I have at present one live prospect. I doubt it would be either well received or economical to operate it in Panama.

Would appreciate any information - or info sources - available.
