Flying over Cuban airspace
 

I was wondering if there were any restrictions for U.S. Airlines to fly over Cuban airspace. For example is a flight from Miami to Jamaica allowed to fly over cuba? or does it have to fly to Haiti and then west to Jamaica?

If you are talking about recently, I don't know.

But normally there are 3 passes over Cuba, for example, flights between Miami and many Central American destinations cross by Varadero in the North and the Bay of Pigs in the South (I believe it is called the Giron corridor). Both US and non-US aircraft use this airspace.

For GA aircraft (at least), this meant paying the appropriate fee at Cubana de Aviacion, S.A., and getting the overflight permission.

The Cubans are very accomodating, their ATC people speak
excellent English, and Radar contact is the norm.
The corridors seem to be a thing of the past, we get a lot of direct
clearances these days.
