Unhappy InterJet

I am returning from a leave. I had promised myself to focus on other things besides aviation and ignored most of the news. Ignorance is strength, I was told; maybe rightly so, but I was getting burned out on politics, union issues etc.

Now that I am back I heard about the demise of Mexican carrier InterJet. It makes me feel bad for those pilots, in particular whose who went through the Mexicana shutdown in 2010. A bunch of great guys and friends on the street, figuring out how to pay their bills, figuring out their life etc.

I don't know what to tell them. I got lucky, my company is still around? I am at a loss.
