Venezuela and pilots

Dear colleagus,

Following the news about the situation in Venezuela, I think everyone wonders "what if I was in their shoes? How could I live in such poor and unstable conditions?"
First of all I'd like to express my solidarity to the entire population, not pilots only.

I want to know how, a professional pilot living and working in Venezuela, is facing this severely turbulent life.
Considering poverty, the financial disaster and the even more eroded safety of the Country, an above average paid worker having a family to protect and feed with such difficulties, how's the day of these colleagues? Are you afraid of opening your house gate?
Have you moved your family away from the Country?

I'd like to have an idea of this to know how things can change in our life, how important is what we, luckier people, have!

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Stay strong

BTS
