Devil COPA PILOT'S PAYCHECK

Hey guys, so when is the raise come?
The latest news I have about captain income was on august , 6500US net plus 2 years housing(800us monthly).
Any news about the salary?
if they continue paying low salaries, pilots will continue quitting and will continue joining flydubai, and Chinese airlines!

When will they wake up and realize that this profession should be justly rewarded. If they want experienced Captains they'll have to pay for them but it seems they are trying their best to hold out as long as possible. COPA should be paying a net of at least $10,000 usd per in total.

Let's hold out too and not go there.

I see that Copa Airlines is advertising Captain positions for $90,000 USD per year. Is that Net or Gross, and if Gross then what can be the expected take home pay after the Panamanian tax collector takes his cut?

In training, you will get a whopping $4000 ($1492 on the first and $2524 on the 15th) a month after taxes. Then you will get approximately $800 more a month after you finish training. If you go over 63 hours, you'll make a little more. The pay is not the best here but maybe it will increase somewhat more soon if UNPAC get's their **** together. If not, there is always China

Don't forget the elephant in the room, if your kids are not fully bilingual and they need to be in an international school, that will set you back $1,500 USD/month each child. COPA's T&C's are just pathetic

Curious about FO pay

I am curious about FO pay as well. I'd like to know before I start filling out the online marathon of forms for COPA.

If anyone has an update it would be appreciated.
