BTW Dorki (oops, I mean Dofi), it was said very early on in the thread, if you don't like it, pull out and put your own $$$ up and start your own website...

Maybe you should go on over th the North American Forum where this language issue is being hotly debated...

There can be no good reason for this when other regional forums allow all languages.
Did you read post #53 in this very forum?

The rules are that Forums will converse in English, unless otherwise arranged and then only for Forums where there is a suitable native speaking Moderator. This is PPRuNe policy, take it or leave it.

If you don't want this Forum moderated or for it to continue in English, then the answer is an easy one, we can close it. But that would be a little bit of a knee jerk reaction.

Remember this jet4hire, you don't pay for the site and you don't take the legal responsibilities for anything that is said on it. If you did, then you could make the decisions on what is acceptable and what is not. The other option is to open your own site and have it in any language you want.

Good morning,

Does it apply to Spanish Forum? A normal user, (who has recognized later that is Spanish) some days ago reminded all that English is mandatory in that Forum, although most of people speak in Spanish, what by the other hand I find logical and acceptable, and which is a normal rule in French and Italian Forum.

Bien dicho D140.

Tengo una disputa por el mismo motivo en el Spanish Forum, con alguien que encima reconoce ser español.
Tanto en el Italian Forum como en el French Forum se habla en todos los posts en italiano y francés respectivamente y nadie se queja.
