Tiger Moth training in Canada

Hi guys,
Do you know any training centre in Canada with Tiger Moth trainer?
What is your opinion about that plane and learn to fly on it?

TIGER MOTH

Many thousands of pilots LEARNED to fly a Tiger Moth . It was said to be "easy to fly but difficult to fly WELL." Those that I flew lacked the complication and the comfort of having radio. you were really on your own when flying solo ! The instruments were all that a pupil needs... in the earlier stages. Too many could confuse. (Automatics etc. can come later, and you wanted to learn to FLY didn't you ?)

One or two in New Zealand too - Tauranga (NZTG) and Ardmore (NZAR) to give you a start.

If you do find one in Canada though, post where it is on your thread here - I'd LOVE to give a Tiger Moth a spin or two around a circuit...assuming I could get my fat http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...s/censored.gif into the seat!

I'm a member of the Edenale Classic Aircraft Foundation, and the chief pilot of the Tiger Moth operation. We are located about an hour North of Toronto. We operate a 1942 DH-82a Tiger Moth, a Fleet 80 Canuck, Piel Diamont and a few others.

We are not a club or school organization per se, but we do offer sponsorships and training and solo flight on all our aircraft including the Tiger Moth depending on your current and prior experience.

Please checkout our website and/or PM me for further info.

They have a bunch, not sure if they do training though.

The guys over at 3point *might* be able to help you. Edenvale is better setup for this, but it's worth a call over to 3point too.
