Hi, here's a bit from my side.
I'm not sure about ON, I'm in MB right now we don't have HST for private but PST is applicable. For commercial none.. NO tax at all :D. should be the same in ON as well. By the way which school are you in...am planning to switch schools...any information about your school would be appreciated. PS: am from India as well |

If you are taking a PPL there is HST, once you get to the CPL there is NO HST.
If you have legal income, you can claim any tuition for a PROFESSIONAL program such as CPL, but nothing for PPL. Cheers H. |
hi winnie,
thank you so much for your reply, one of my friend told me that we dont get full HST back. we only get few %... do you have any idea about it? i have no income and i am so much new in this. so a bit worried, hope i get some money back. do you know how to get it ? |
I'm Canadian and I live in Ontario.
I did my training 2 years ago and I didn't have to pay PST (8%). It was just GST (7%). I don't know about now days, when both PST and GST are combined. |
