I had another one like that many years ago. I was flying aerial survey for a company back in the early 70s. Farmers were being asked not to plant certain crops and that they would get some subsidies if they planted others.

Well, the Feds were worried about getting ripped off, so they contracted us to fly half of the prairies and infra-red false color. From that, they were able to distinguish what types of crops were where...sneaky...anyways, after our film load had been sent to our office for developing, it was taken into our annotating department.

Just north of Saskatoon...in letters neatly mowed out of the field:

F.U. Trudeau

Like the shepherd's cottage in the Welsh mountains (RAF low-flying area). The roof has big whitewashed letters:
