WEATHER reference
Looking for a good weather reference for the INRAT and CPL exams. suggestions?
|
The "Air Command Weather Manual" is great.
check www.aviationworld.net It may not be on the website, but they definitely have it in the store. |
AWARE is fairly good too. I don't know if they have a new edition with GFAs in it, but in 1999 I found that many of the CPL answer choices were word for word out of AWARE.

I used Pultz's Instrument Manual and the Weather section is quite good both in terms of breadth and depth. The Air Command Manual is certainly more comprehensive, but for ease of reading the Pultz is better.

Thanks guys for the advice. will get the Air Command Manual from TC soon. heard that they are going out of print soon.
fly safe. |
Borneo the Air Command one is excellent. I would also recommend (as Luftwaffedid) AWARE. AWARE is published by TC and is one of the references they use for writing the exams. You won't go wrong with either.
Randy_G In England you don't suntan ... you rust :) |
Don't forget that old reliable "Weather Ways"
