Operating deHavilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter and Cessna C-185 aircraft, we aim to provide a new level of safety, service and friendliness throughout Nunavut. Unaalik Aviation offers competitive remuneration with a comprehensive benefits package and subsidized housing.

All positions are full-time and based in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

We are looking for enthusiastic, team players to fill the following positions:

Chief Pilot. .A valued member of the management team, you will lead and motivate flight crew while promoting safety and professionalism.

Candidates must have extensive Twin Otter experience including off-strip and Arctic operations and meet the qualifications for a 704 Chief Pilot as per the CAR's.

DHC-6 Captains. .Minimum 1000 hours PIC on type with off-strip experience an asset.

DHC-6 First Officers/C185 Pilots. .Must have a Canadian Commercial Pilots License with a current Group 1 IFR. Preference will be given to those applicants with DHC-6 or tail wheel experience.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. .M1 with DHC-6 or PT6 experience preferred.

In addition, the job poster returned to comment that a first class was already at FlightSafety. With over 4,000 hours dHC6 command in my pocket he must have found some really qualified people!!

That outfit bought one of our twins, they still havent picked it up yet though, we're still flying it. Enough I have to spend 2 wks there dont think I want to live there.

I've got 4K hard-time command on Twotters, and I wouldn't mind the base at all. Been out of work too long to give a cr@p where I'm living.
