could u tell me what chances are there for atr 72 p2 with total time 1400hrs of which 800hrs are on turboprops in ur part of the world ------------------ icarus |
pretty good I guess...
|
If able, stick around there til you get at least 2000 or 2200 hours-- otherwise you might take a backslide into piston twins-- the above mentioned numbers are mins for a few of the commuters-- Air Nova and Air Georgian, for example. Then again you might have a chance with Central Mountain Air. Good luck.

Petergozinya hmmmmm what are you doing here?seems to me you're looking to find out about the Rumor.you know the one that just wont die....so where are you from?and why are you here? I think you have a need to bother people......dont you? be careful ...could be a mental illness :)

Bwaahahaha. Good one. Just have a problem with people who happen to "fly airplanes" as opposed to someone who is a pilot. I take exception (how presumptious of me) to someone who broadcasts statements like " NO JOBS IN CANADA", when: A. it isn't true, and B. Passes job tips in canada to people who ask. Whould you like me to dig up the link(s)?
Seriously though, you strike me as someone with a little bit of cash that doesn't want to spend (waste, by your standards)time in a flying job making perhaps less than than you are now. And would rather pay your way to a jet position. Not a 'pilot' quality, in my not so humble opinion. You don't have to like me, as I'm not seeking your approval. If your dream is to fly, then persue it passionately, without your checkbook. I've got many friends who have flown the "bush" in alaska and would not trade the experience for the world. Some of these guys are now 767 captains. ;) :) :) BTW, just trying to help those who are pinning their hopes on flying in the U.S. A little rumor control never hurt anyone :) |
As you might have guessed, I'm from the U.S.
No offense really, If your true desire is to fly. Do it. It really is that simple. Accrue your experience and make MANY contacts along the way. It has to be better than managing a night club for a career...... |
Petergozinya, please e-mail me at : [email protected]

FAA ATPL is only good in the States. Come on over, get a Canadian ATPL and then join the queue. |
