Oops, wrong airport.

Last Saturday, Air Nova (AC Connector) 8728, YQB-YYY landed by mistake at WXK. They were cleared for the approach into Mont-Joli, but cancelled IFR and landed in Rimouski by mistake. After realizing they were at the wrong airport, they took off and flew the remaining twenty miles to YYY. (Rimouski has one rnwy - 05/23, Mont-Joli two - 06/24 and 12/30) Company spokesthing didn't say whether pax got extra aeroplan miles. http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/redface.gif

I remember an SAS DC8 landing at Canadair instead of Dorval in the 60's. Took weeks to work out how to get it out again due to much shorter runway.

Also heard about an Air Nova Dash-8 who did a leg entirely gear down....(forgot to switch up!).
Beside this, those pilots are getting hard time on sim ride & PPC ....
May be to much !? and after this, get a bit relaxed !?
