Flying in Montreal

I`m a UK PPL looking for a flight training school in Montreal.

All the websites for Montreal Flying club and others at St Hubert seem shut.

Are there any flying schools in Montreal?

Keen to try something different and cheaper than UK. Like twins, ski planes, float planes etc.

There is few school around here. Hemishair and Dorval Aviation out of Dorval airport (YUL). Cargair at Mascouche and Beloeil. And ProAviation out of St-Hubert. Depends what you are looking for. You can't do skis form YUL!

Cheers,

Thanks for the responses. Ended up going to Montreal flying club who were very helpful.

Had great fun flying thier Grumman Cougar AA-7.

Recommend it to any Brit who goes to Montreal.

Easy to get to St Hubert, take the 28 bus from Longueil for 45 min direct.

Glad things worked out for you. :)

What is the current hourly rental charge for the Cougar?
