Air Canada Interview

Hello folks,

I am sure there has been a lot of discussions here about the interview process at Air Canada. However, its very hard to navigate through with the latest Q&A /FAQ/Computer based assessment. I have an interview line up in Jan with Air Canada. Since I have not flown in Canada neither went though with interview rounds with any operator, I am quite clueless about what expect. I am an experienced pilot with 7K TT with 3K PIC hrs on bus.

Any insight on the interview process is much appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Try this website. It's generally regarded as good info but you may have to pay a bit:

Thank you. I already have access to this site. It contains interview experiences from candidates who went through the interview round, and the FAQs during the interview . Quite helpful but very limited information.

As per the latest email from AC one needs to go through 1. Online computerised assessment 2. In person interview 3. Medical 4. Psychometric evaluation. I have got the FAQs and the process for the interview. Medical is in your control. Any tips on no 1 & 4 questionnaire?

Again thanks much !

antigravity61,

Wish I could be of more use but I'm mercifully unfamiliar with the online testing that's now part of so many airline application processes. I do see people talking about these tests and where one can practice them but that's the extent of my knowledge. I'm part of a different generation and from the sound of what I read in recent years, I'm grateful to not be looking for a job today (likely couldn't get hired to sweep out the hangar with the current set of hurdles to jump).

Do you have the ability live /work in the USA ?

I see these cog/personality tests discussed toward the last few pages of APC Delta thread:

Hi BAFAN,

Thank you for your reply.
Sadly, I don’t have the authorisation to work in States. I wish I could join the work force in demand at the moment.

Our of curiosity, what did you think of the payscale and expectations?

Cheers.
