Looking for B787 TRE

Hi guys,

I am looking to convert my Chinese ATPL (currently on type with a B787 rating) to a Canadian ATPL, and possibly stop flying for 1-2 years to explore other opportunities in Canada. However, I would like to keep my flying options open in case my plan doesn't work out.

Where can I engage a B787 TRE in Canada, to conduct my type rating renewal annually? Please send me your recommendations and contacts. Thank you so much for your help.

Best Regards,
Type Rated Driver

TRD
How about you read this post https://www.pprune.org/canada/610578...et-canada.html and the half dozen others about working in Canada and then ask your question.

There is no such thing as a TRE in Canada and you won't be able to just walk in an convert a 787 license without having done all the other work necessary to get the licenses. Your statement of keeping options open are true. Best to use other options as this one won't be working any time soon.
Type ratings are conducted by Transport Canada and at (in this case Air Canada) an operator. There are no available other methods.
