Sheer Guts
On Saturday, Zach Elliott officially opens his Flight School, Advanced Ultralights. His Open Day at Kingston Airport will run from 10am to 8pm, with a Barbeque at noon.
Nothing special? Well, Zach will be CFI. He is barely 20 years old and in a wheelchair. A car accident in his teens looked like it had destroyed his flying ambitions - he already had his PPL and was aiming way beyond. So, he re-assessed his situation and is now open for business. If you live near Kingston (ON) I'm sure he'd be pleased to see you on Saturday. If not, I'm equally sure he'd be pleased by any messages of encouragement. His Website is:- Ontario Advanced Ultralights I wish him well and I'll be there, Mike |

Finding freedom in flight | The Kingston Whig-Standard Thank you, the almost 1,000 people who hit on this posting so far. Now see and hear this amazing young man. And, if you live in SE Ontario, come and fly with him. We've known his family almost all his lifetime and are really proud. Mike |
Thank you to the almost 1,100 people who have visited this thread in the last three days and showed an interest in Zach.
He had a great Opening Day despite miserable low cloud and rain, lots of interest and I saw several bookings being made. I don't plan to continue this thread from here but, if any of you visit him, please let us know. To use a good, old-fashioned compliment, BRAVO ZULU ZACH! Mike |
I salute the young man.
Although we are back in the UK My son was born in Mississauga and is bloody proud of it ! :ok::ok::ok: |
