interested in finding some info on who runs fire detection in various states. I only know of discovery air, but I know there are others in other states.

If you wish to find information on who flys fire in various states, the you must ask this question on an American website, however of you wish to find out who flys fire in various Canadian PROVINCES, then you are on the right forum. { Maried to a Kiwi by the way}

No, we were in fact maried in NZ, lived both there and Oz, she is related to the Ngatuaritoa tribe, so mind what you say or you will share the fate of the British Red Jackets! {You might have to explain this to non Kiwis!} On a more serious note, this would be a VERY productive year to be in fire detection, but in recent times there have been some very wet seasons with little productive flying, its a gamble.

clunckdriver - haha I couldnt resist joking about it, Im just keen to do some more flying in different parts of the world, keen as to get to canada, and the fire season is opposite to aus, so could work perfect
