Flair Air B737 pilot recruitment

Hey good news Canadian aviation is opening up in the midst of financial turmoil in Europe. Any ideas what sort of salary figures we are looking at for FIRST OFFICERS??? Any update on this company will be appreciated. Happy landings ladies and gents.

Water is free for pilots, though. Good water, too. Bottled, they do not take it out of the potable water in the lav sink like for the coffee; it is quality stuff, and you can even have another bottle, if you want, for free. Plus, after the aircraft has landed on the last sector and the muffin and hummus leftovers are getting thrown in the trash, you can rummage around and grab them if the flight attendants are nice to you. Company director put out a memo saying is it OK. It is a flexible place.

Really nice folks to work for. It is actually fun to work there. Now, there was a vote of 98% in favor of striking last week, but that is neither here nor there.

You forgot “/sarcasm” at the end of your reply. Oh and by the way, they asked about Flair, not WestJet.

I think he's talking about Flair.

With the imminent launch of Swoop - a WestJet Company - one could be forgiven for wondering whether there is a difference. I received a very nasty look from the lead the last time I took a Lite Bite for my personal consumption, so perhaps my colleagues and I will end up paying for it - in more ways than one.

the use of irony to mock or convey contempt. Cut and paste from the dictionary.

Severely looked down upon in canada. Carries the same stigma as telling it like it is, which is not politically correct and therefore unacceptable in the great white north, which carries considerable social penalties.

That would also be sarcasm.
