air marshals on Canadian airline flights
gleaned this bit from the Oct 20 issue of YYZ News ( [email protected] ):
"The Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) announced they are joing the ALPA and the First Air Pilots Association in asking that Transport Canada establish a corps of properly trained and equipped air marshals to provide security on Canadian airline flights." Strange days indeed! |
Won't happen. The Liberals don't give a rat's ass about human life- they'd rather do things like give cops the authority to jail anyone for 3 days without cause or legal counsel (it's in the legislation introduced last week).

Lessee...the Minister of Tragedy won't allow the last line of defence against hijacking on an aircraft, but the Minister of Defence will allow a hijacked aircraft to be shot down.
Is it just me, or is there some priority fu***d here? |
you're right. Simply reinforcing cockpit doors has got to be little consolation to flight attendants or to an already skittish public.
|
hey listen! whatever it takes to get those flights full again. perhaps the new hiring scheme for f/a's will be 'bouncers', imagine the kinda inflight service ur pax are going to get. no more sweet smiles or turn ons. just plain service!! :D
|
Not such a bad idea flyguy- the best bouncers are trained to calm people down before they get stupid.
