Yes, kinda, sorta. Reduction of the annual TFSA max from $10,000 to $5,500 for the 2016 taxation year. Also, lowering the max income tax bracket to folks making more than $90,000 may contribute to a brain/wallet drain i.e. an exodus from Canada.
What will Bombardier do? "Keep the trains, sell the planes"? Or vice versa? Those are good to very good jobs, and Canada needs that technical sector of the economy.

Bombardier is too big to let it fail and the consequences of letting it fail would be a disaster to the Canadian economy.
Don't get me wrong I think Bombardier's management made a lot of mistakes when it comes to the C series and perhaps the governments should have a say on who get appointed to run the company but, let us not forget that one of the major problems with the C series that delayed the program was the engine failure.
Now that the aircraft's test program is nearly completed and if we believe in the company's numbers performance wise, which they claim are better, this aircraft could/should be a winner.

There has to be consequences to bail outs. There has to be accountability.
When GM was bailed out, the CEO was forced to resign and the majority of GM's board members were also booted out.
Bombardier is essentially controlled by one super-rich family, and we keep bailing them out without any consequences. Why is that? The family has tight relationship with Quebec politicians -- an unhealthy relationship if you ask me.
There has to be a point when someone says "enough is enough" and force Bombardier to put in an independent board and restructure their voting rights as a condition of additional moneys.

Of Course...............lower taxes............the only people that make this income are gov't workers, teachers,policeman.............still all gov't workers..........oh yeah timmy coffee are spared because they make 11.25 per hr now..........lucky them

For those singing technical the virtues of the C Series, these days it has nothing to do with which is the best aircraft, its all about which is the cheapest and which company gives the best deal, the bean counters rule the roost, not flight operations, welcome to our "New World".
