Mile High
 

Anyone know if the Sky One TV Series Mile High is available on video? Just started watching it and love it. Would like to see all the past episodes.

I don't know about the programme but I do know that new Irish LCC FreshAer is considering sueing BskyB because the airlines name is the programme is FreshAir and the TV show isn't promoting FreshAer (Ireland) or doing them any justice.

BskyB must have changed there name to avert legal action because a couple of weeks ago they had an advert on for the programme and the narrator said "Join the crew of Fresh Air".

Thats probably what it was, in Airliner World it said the airline was called "Fresh" so I'm only going off what they said.

I love mile high too. Some of the aircraft scenarios are a bit over the top. Small things like, its obivious the a/c is a 733 or higher, as you can see the cfm engines, put the safety pa's are mentioned as a 732. Just small things, but the crew are Mmmm!!! especially Lehann (naomi ryan)

transwede, I don't think that it will come out on video because Sky don't generally make videos. If you e-mail them they would probably tell you if they are going to put it on video.

Again, I know nothing to do with the original question - but does anyone know whose aircraft they leased/chartered and repainted to do the filming?

Must of cost 'em a few quid...

It looks like to me that they computer animated the logo's onto an existing 733 as it is not that high quality (ie real). Also they never show close ups of 'their' aircraft, me thinks those PC wizards were at it.
Then again i am probably wrong, as usual......

Are they going to make another series and is this the first or is there an earlier one? Last episode this Sunday11 May.

I have it on good authority from a friend at Sky Centre in Osterley that 2nd series is already in pre-production.:O
