Fancy a good read, a little laugh, and see how the LCAs might develop. Recognise your flight deck, or yourself.
Managed to read as SLF from DFW to LGW yesterday, the AA hosti wanted to borrow my copy......should be required reading for interview day.

I have read it, great book. There are many such books but this author has a nack as he is a former Captain.

It's funny how when you read these books you can visualise yourself in the cabin, doing what you do. (well I do anyway).

I have just finished reading a book about Cabin Crew, totally fictional but unfortunatley very true to the point os describing what some of us "actually" do do on overnights . I lent the book to another crew member and cant think of the name. It may be the same book you are talking about?? Help me out if you can. Cabin Crew based in the UK, trip to New York and talks about all their ventures. Is that the one?

The book I refer to is called TURBULENCE, and the relationship between the lead hostess, and the flight deck, makes the strand "in charge" a kids bed time story.

There is another 'fiction' book out called Flying by Henry Sutton. Just started it, but sounds like another similar story about the lives of cabin crew.

All I can say is I rarely see the other crew for the whole trip until pick up a few days later. I have fun fun fun!! No disregard to my fellow crew members who are also a lot of fun, but they're not into my kind of fun!!

I never do much on layovers. Mostly hang around the hotel, watch a movie in someones room, go shopping. Nothing that exciting!

Remember a certain article in Cosmo mag? Where it claimed we go out drinking, have lots of sex and take lots of drugs? Yeah like we can afford too!
