3 in a flying bed? eh?

So anyone got any opinions on the cabin crew getting the bump for a little orgy????

HUE JORGAN 7th March 2000 15:48

it totally disgusts me!!!!! no one should lose their job over a friendly little mid-air shag!!

Jetlegs 7th March 2000 16:13

Hadn't heard about this one.
Which company fired their no doubt loyal employees for spreading a bit of high altitude TLC? And what did the company use as a legal basis for this dismal dismissal?
Do tell.......... ;)
Cheers

According to the Sun 2 female and one male cabin crew had an orgy in some hotel at heathrow.......the 2 girls were sacked but the guy got away with it cos he said he wasnt on duty.....

however there was a footnote about the hotel room being trashed in the oaforementioned orgy but hey who knows....

oh they were with the worlds favourite

Self Loading Freight 8th March 2000 18:14

Typical tabloid exaggeration. Everyone knows that a threesome isn't an orgy -- you need a total limb count in double figures for that.

Have you heard that a scandinavian crew had an orgy on their uniforms... Outside their room in the hotel somewhere. I quess the flightdeck was taking part in the action.

If I should have sex with my collegues, I certainly wouldnīt like the participation of our flight deck... so few of them turns me on. Otherwise - donīt know!

Report from DUB:

2 cabin crew were suspended after the purser caught the female member with her head in the lap of the male member on board a positioning flight. I'll leave it to your own imagination, but i reckon she was either tired or sick!!!! Well you know what they say about that company.

Latest scam on the sacked crew. BA are the culprates, it was in the new BA hotel, The Aurora at LHR. Skyport 10th March quotes " Three in a bed sacked." Seems like the girls were on duty next day to New York but the guy was off. Hence they got sacked but he was reinstated after appeal. Got caught by room service waiter and they asked him to join in. Lucky b*****d, he declined and reported them. As for the room being trashed, there was only a fag burn in the carpet, and slightly damaged furniture. BIG DEAL!!!!Typical BA. Over reacting again.

Tarantella 17th March 2000 09:19

What you do, and who you do, is your own business even in a slip port.
Besides how could they prove it?
It's the room service guy's word against theirs.
Denial is a wonderful thing!!!
Maybe the shagging isn't what the problem was- maybe they were intoxicated within hours - that'd make more sense.
You can have sex right up till call time if you so desire.
Who the hell cares and more to the point why should they?

boywonder 17th March 2000 14:04

What exactly were they sacked for??? You can't be sacked for bonking other crew members or none of us would still be employed.

Obviously the room must have been trashed or something else!!

Third world traveller 17th March 2000 21:13

They were sacked because The Aurora hotel contacted BA for compensation due to the carpet burn and the slightly damaged furniture. After an investigation, the crew involved were suspended. Like everyone else, a major over reaction me thinks, but then that's BA for you, one big over reaction!!!!!

Self Loading Freight 17th March 2000 22:34

I dunno about BA, but my company contract includes a clause for instant dismissal for 'gross misconduct', which includes anything that can bring the company into disrepute. This most definitely involves doing anything like three-in-a-bed bonkathons with other staff members when ANYONE might find out.

Ask not how I know this...

R

(but then, my company contract explicitly includes 'consuming alcohol while on company business' on the list of things that are officially naughty. And we're journalists...)
