whats the score - nitestops/promotion etc. - i realise the little house at the end of the mall is out of the question but seriously folks>>?

alcoflyer, I've got a few friends at EG & even though morale is pretty low at the mo' they're fairly happy with life there. Nite stops are plentiful with 2/3/4 day trips (including a few standover days) and only a few 2 sector days (Moscow, Athens & Kiev being the longest). Promotion has slowed down mainly due to all the 757s (bar 1) being sent back to LHR (they had 2 Pursers) so they are overcrewed with seniors but under with main crew, so on SBY's the PSRs are always working down. Apart from that they are a friendly bunch & it's a shame that most of my mainline colleagues at LGW are a bit snooty towards them. As scheduled short haul it's probably the best bet around at the moment....good luck!
