Life at EOG
Any comments anyone like to share (as objective as possible please!) on life with the above at the 'back end' - promotion a-c types (737/757 ?)
e-mail if preferred cheers! |
I,m sure EG (as it is now known!) cabin crew would happily respond to your enquiry, if only they were paid enough to buy a computer.

I SEE - I ONLY WANT TO BUY A PORSCHE ONCE A YEAR, NOT TWICE..!!
NOT AS BAD A THAT, SURLEY?? |
Yeah..in short it is! The basics are low, the flying pay is comparable to other non BA operators (£1.80 ph approx). Currently there is a v. high turnover of CC (many leaving to join Flying Colours etc.) due to low morale etc. Also, new entrants are told they can transfer to BA mainline in 2 years. This is almost fantasy, current waiting times are nearer 4 years; and when they can transfer they cannot take their seniority with them. So even if they've made purser, it's back to the bottom of the pile. EG is NOT the same as BA mainline, it is a "wholly owned subsidary" of BA. Having said all that, the crews don't whinge too much and all seem to let their hair down away from base. Good luck if you're still keen!
