HELP- PAX to CREW Ratio
 

Hi guys,

Im trying to gather as much information for a report im compiling for my airline (Middle Eastern Carrier) I'm requesting information from crew - in particular QF, SQ, CX, Etihad, Qatar, AF, BA (larger carriers) or any other carriers who fleet the following aircraft:

B777-300 2/3 class
B777-300ER/ULR
B777-200 ULR
A340-500 2/3 class
A340-300 2/3 class
A330-200 2/3 class

I.E. Aircraft Type, Crew jump seats, actual crew rostered and total number of pax seats in all classes & how many jump seats go empty in accordance with your airlines rostering. If you could break it down to the minor details it would be even better!
B777-300 3 Class eg FC 3 crew/12 pax it would be great - L1 Galley, R1 Duty Free & Cabin L1A Cabin etc

BA LHR 777-200s have:

1 CSD
3 Pursers (F, J and WT/WT+)
2 Main Crew F
3 Main Crew J
3 Main Crew Y

I believe that LGW 777-200s get away with 2 less somehow.

Can you possibly tell me what is the configuration for a BA B777-200 is and how many pax per cabin/class? Do you know by any chance how many jump seats are physically installed on their aircraft?

Can you tell me in the BA service sequence does a PUR 'officially' have a position/door or are they simply used as an A position or 'viewer role/extra pair of hands'? Do they consume a working role like the rest of the crew?

The more information you can give me the better,

Bored - what is your problem?!??! Seriously, this is not some giant conspiracy against the cabin crew world. Get over it mate.

I dont know what your reason is for highlighting Ethihad - there are many more carriers this way - Emirates, Aljazera, Middle Eastern, Air Arabia and so on.

Im writing to ask for other company/crew perspectives when it comes to the ratio of crew jump seats to actual crew rostered per flight/operation. Its not a hard question, and its not a giant conspiracy against the pprune forum.

Seriously, get back to work and you wont be so bored!
