Hi Guys

I wasn't aware that there was going to be a crew base opening at DSA?? TCX flights through there have always been crewed with BHX crew in the past.

I've checked at work and I've been told that there is only 1 arrival / departure through DSA this year and again it's going to be crew from BHX.

G-FCLJ where did you get your info from out of interest?

Confused

:hmm:

As far as I know there is no notice board at the airport nor is there an airport newspaper as such.
The local newspaper is: 'The Eastern Daily Press'.
I would guess that either you or your company will have to get in touch with NWI airport security to arrange an airside pass. Perhaps they may help or, at the least, would pass on a note to the Senior Captain at KLM/UK, Eastern and Flybe for posting in their respective crew rooms - if they still have them.
There are a couple of flying schools on the field. They might post a note for you. Indeed, if you get the right girl at the information desk at NWI you might score there too and there used to be some very helpful chaps who worked in Flight Briefing who might put the word out for you. That's airside nowadays. There is also a small airfield nearby at Felthorpe, someone there may be able to help.

I should avoid living to the south of the city, even though you may report and end at uncivilized hours.

Hope this is of some use to you. Norwich is a fine city and the Park and Ride is right beside the airfield.
Good luck.:D

Look for/place adverts in local papers:
Free Ads
The Advertiser
The Eastern Daily Press
The Evening News
Your best bet with advertising in local flight schools is Premier Flight Training on the western side of the airport near the Air Ambulance and Police bases. The staff there are friendly and the owners manage property so may be able to help or at least advertise your case!
Try searching this site for accommodation:

Hope this helps
