right answers at the interview
Hi there
It is me again with my doubts about interviews for Cabin Crew. I have failed twice in the past two months and I've got another opportunity with JAL this month. I find difficult to answer these: How would you answer these questions: Why would you like to become a Cabin Crew?????? Why would you like to work for us?????? What skills and qualities can you bring to the role of Air Cabin Crew??? From your previous experience you could help me with these. thanks Italianboy |
Well why not start by giving us your answers to these questions and then we will tell you where you are going wrong! These are pretty basic questions which if you cannot get them right then no amount of coaching will really be beneficial to you!
Just remember, you dont want to be cabin crew in order to travel and you dont want to work for the airline in question because they are simply hiring and you just really want to be crew!!! As for the last one think of what you have worked as in the past and how it may be relevant to crew! |
No one can tell you the right answers because it will depend on the person(s) posing the questions.
What you may need to do is look critically at your performance in the previous interviews. Remember learning from ones mistakes is an excellent improvement technique ;) |
well I would have to agree with whats been said above we cant TELL you what to say because that would mean right away that you (no offence) arnt qualified for alot of jobs I mean if you dont know why you want to be an FA or why u want to work for a specific airline (thats a harder one because really a jobs a job so i wouldnt really care what airline) But if u really need help on what to say heres some ideas: say stuff like "well i love to fly and to help people and i have good people skills and work well even when under pressure" all things like that then you could say " i want to work for JAL because (this may be BS i dont know but w/e) JAL has always been my preference for an airline and employees are friendly and i would love to work along side them" Thats the sort of stuff i would say.

Italianboy,
I have personnally used, and know of people that have found useful, this book. It is not about airlines in particular, but it points you in the right direction on what interviewers want to hear, and in the right attitude in trying to get a job. Then you have to work on what YOUR reasons and expectations are, keeping in mind the right techniques, attitudes and mistakes to avoid. |

Italian boy,
i found out a great way is to look up on the net about behavioral based questions..there are some ace sites that give the best answers. i also found by using them and relating those to your experience...write them down and keep remembering them...that way when you get into the interview you are ready.... Anth P>S this info was from a good source who is a HR manager |
