Hey everybody im new to this site and is my first post.

well just wondered have any of you been in a similar situation. after securing my first flying job last year on my very first interview lucky me l :O

ive spent the whole winter with the desire to go back into the industry but to my dismay ive sent off applications to several airlines only to have no response whatsoever. i would really like to resume the role as cabin crew as now i can see what a perfect job i had and wish i had appreciated it moreat the time. so should i sit tight or try and chase up what is happenin with these applications.

any info would be grately appreciated.

p.s has anyone elseappliedto fly blu out of brum and if so have they been back in contact with you as there another that ive had no futher correspondance with.

I applied to Flyblu about a month ago & I haven't heard anything back. I e-mailed my CV & cover letter to them. I'm very experienced crew so I thought I would have heard something back by now. I did the same with bmi (Manchester L/H) and needless to say, I'm still waiting for a reply.

Does anyone know if these airlines accept online applications? Or would I be better off posting them through good old 'Royal Mail.' Does this make any difference when it comes to applying for these vacanies & actually getting your CV read?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I too applied to flyblu a couple of weeks ago, along with a colleage from work. She had an email a couple of days later and i didn't. Then out of the blue last friday had a phonecall from them to say they will be needing an application form to be filled in and when they have finished composing it they will be sending it out to me. They did ask what position i was flying in now and would i want to continue in that position.
Lets wait and see !!!!
