Excel Interview - NCL Base

I have an XLA interview at NCL next week.

What do I expect? Anyone attended an Interview before?

p.s I am slightly overweight - 17.5 stone / 6ft3, but put this on my application form. Will this stand in my way?

Hi there, hope you are not too worried about the interview. Just a few tips:

1)Just be yourself and don't be too loud.
2)Expect a few group exercises, whereby you will have to show your teamwork and pepole skills. Try to use the other candidates names when taking to them. Involve others in the conversation and ask what others think- this is always good.
3)Expect a simple maths test, eg multiplication, add, subtract, divide and conversions
4)Don't be too dissappointed if you don't make it through to the interview stage. Just apply to others.
5)I'm sure your weight isn't a prob, otherwise they would not have invited you to an interview.

Just a quick Q. Have you aplies to any airlines before? What was the outcome?

Yeah it should be a good base, I know a few people who have applied too.

But what I forgot to ask them, IS IT A ALL YEAR ROUND BASE or just summer only? ;)

I think the NCL base is Summer only.

I have only done one Assessment day before - that was last month for Easyjet. I didn't get it. I managed to get through the whole day - but messed up on final interview.

What does the '5 minutes talking' involve? Do they give you a topic? This is where I go wrong. Give me 250 pax on an a/c and I'll be fine - but I always get so nervous for some reason - and I'm a really out going person!! Oy vey!
