Hi to all the EK crew here,

I just wanna ask something to the Emirates crew:
I will join Emirates in two weeks and in my contract is only mentioned my basic salary and the flying allowances. I would like to know how much is the salary of Grade 1 crew and CS and CSD...
Please let me know....cause i am very curious about it. I also want to know how much time we have to wait until we will be promoted to Grade 1...

On the EK int. you should have received what is called "Brief guidelines of cabin crew salary & allowances". There you will find information on flying pay which is as follows:

Grade II: 39 Dhs
Grade I: 44.50 Dhs
Grade I (First Class): 49 Dhs
Senior: 55 Dhs
Purser: 60 Dhs

I had my final int. yesterday in Barcelona (Spain) but it didnt go very well, :-(

They told us that we would get an answer in about 4 weeks time and that we must send to Dubai 2 Photos, a reference letter from our employer and an extensive medical test. What I dont know is if you have to send all this after or before getting an answer regarding how your final interview went.

With regards to the flight pay, think that you have got it all correct.
The medical, photos and all that gubbings if i remember correctly should be done once the offer has been made. Excuse my knowledge, but its been quite some time since i did mine. sure there are some ek crew out there who will put me right if i'm wrong!
Finally from Grade 2 to Grade 1 varies in time. At present you can look forward to an upgrade anywhere between 16 and 18 months although with new aircraft arriving, this could change.
