Cabin Crew Cancer Rates
|
Worth a read, something to be aware of..but would it be churlish of me to point out that the final paragraphing the report states: Some limitations of the study are that researchers were not able to take into consideration individual UV exposures, such as sunbathing habits or leisure-time activities, which could influence skin cancer risk. In addition, cancer rates were self-reported by study participants, and these diagnoses were not confirmed by a check of their medical records by the researchers, according to the study. |
No wiggy, not churlish but that doesn't explain why rates of all other types of cancer are also massively higher. |
In my experience of flight crews, STDs and bum-diseases pose a far higher risk than cancer...
